Murrieta, CA — Power Automedia is excited to announce that Project Max Street, a 1966 Chevrolet Nova, will be featured at Race Winning Brands’ booth during the 2022 SEMA Show this November. Max Street is the company’s longest ongoing project, with its first article covering engine upgrades published back in 2010.

“We are excited to wrap up Project Max Street and have it on display at the SEMA Show this year,” shared Brian Havins,  Director of Content & Consumer Marketing. “This car is the pinnacle of a true high-performance street machine with a plethora of modern-day hot rod parts. Our team has done a fantastic job with this build, and it shows with every nut and bolt replaced on the ’66 Nova.”

Project Max Street began its journey in desperate need of restoration with a 350 small-block Chevy engine that needed to be replaced. Through the years, Street Muscle Magazine has worked hard to turn this classic into a potent muscle car with an Edelbrock/Musi 555ci big-block Chevy engine, ProCharger F2 supercharger, TCI 6X transmission, Wilwood brakes, Moser rearend, and so much more. Most recently Max Street received a fresh coat of matte white paint from Axalta Coating, bringing this half-century-old build closer to being on display.

“From its inception, our CEO James Lawrence and Street Muscle set out to make Max Street a ‘rowdy Friday night muscle car.’ But it evolved over time with great attention to detail and a unique, subtle vision – as evidenced by the matte white and dark gray pallette,” stated Chief Content Officer Scott Parker. “To my knowledge, this is the first time an active SEMA Chairman has had a vehicle on display at the SEMA Show.”

Max Street will be showcased at the SEMA Show from November 1st until November 4th at the Race Winning Brands booth #22943. For additional build details and updates, follow StreetMuscleMag.com.
