Dragzine.com – the world’s leading drag racing publication owned by Power Automedia – has competed with a “Drag Radial” project car for the last four years nicknamed “BlownZ”. Driven by company CEO James Lawrence, BlownZ regularly raced in NMCA competitions, and has traveled as far east as Georgia, Chicago, and Memphis, competing in the Limited Drag Radial and Street Outlaw classes.
Power Automedia is excited to announce that BlownZ will be featured in the Mickey Thompson Tire exhibit (booth #43035) at this years’ 2016 SEMA show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This incredible 4th Gen Camaro, built by Power Automedia’s shop crew at the magazine’s facility, is a proven drag strip winner, competing in NMCA Limited Street and Outlaw Drag Radial. The car won the 2016 NMCA West Limited Street Championship, going undefeated with fourteen straight round wins, and an overall “perfect season”.
The BlownZ Camaro features a vast array of high-performance racing components, including Mickey Thompson Pro 5 Drag Wheels wrapped with with ET Pro Drag Radials and ET fronts. Before the SEMA show, the car will be completely re-wrapped with a new “carbon fiber” theme.
The 2016 SEMA show takes place November 1st through 4th, showcasing the industry’s hottest and newest products and drawing top industry professionals from all over the world. Power Automedia’s exhibit will be located at booth #21707 in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Mickey Thompson will be at booth #43035.
