Power Automedia has announced plans to expand its popular all-Ford magazine StangTV into two new magazines: FordMuscle and FordNXT. To lead the new titles, Power Automedia has also hired magazine industry veteran Steve Turner as Executive Editor.

“I’ve known Steve Turner for more than 15 years, and you’re not going to find a more experienced, dedicated editor,” said James Lawrence, Power Automedia CEO. “He has invested a good portion of his working life in knowing the Ford and Mustang market inside and out, and we couldn’t be more proud than to have him on the team.”

“Power Automedia is expanding our modern Ford and Ford musclecar performance offerings so readers can see more of what they want, and less of what they don’t,” explained Scott Parker, Power Automedia’s Director of Content & Strategy. “Power Automedia’s existing magazine, StangTV.com, will expand into FordNXT.com—a magazine targeted to the next generation of Ford Performance, including Coyote, 2011-up Mustangs, Ecoboost, Raptors, and more. It’s for today’s Ford technology.”PAM-News-Thumbnail-2

FordMuscle.com, on the other hand, will cater to traditional Ford performance—Fox Mustangs and earlier, more traditional Ford hot rods. It will feature engine tech ranging from pushrod 5.0-liters to Three-Valve and earlier Modulars. Both magazines will be go-to sources for all things Ford; tech articles, car features, event coverage, the latest industry news, and the scoop on the newest and hottest products.

Turner is a graduate of the University of Central Florida and has over 20 years of experience in the industry, most notably working for Super Ford, Focus Fanatic, and as the editor of 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords. Most recently, he helped create and launch a digital content platform for SVTPerformance.com, where he served as Editor-in-Chief for the last two and a half years.

“I am looking forward to working with the dynamic and innovative team at Power Automedia,” Turner said. “The team is driven by a passion for cars and they are always looking for a better way to spread that enthusiasm via online magazines, social media, and video. We will develop FordNXT and FordMuscle into the number-one sources for Ford performance enthusiasts to get their fix.”
