Power Automedia recently launched two new magazines, making a huge debut in the online Ford community. Fresh, new content will now be brought to readers in the form of tech articles, car features, event coverage, the latest industry news, and the scoop on the newest and hottest products.
Power Automedia’s existing magazine, StangTV, has transformed into both the brand new FordNXT.com as well as the relaunched FordMuscle.com. FordNXT has a specific focus on the next generation of Ford performance, including Coyote 2011+ Mustangs, EcoBoost, Raptors and more. FordMuscle.com caters to fans of more traditional Ford performance such as Fox Mustangs and earlier Ford hot rods. It will feature tech articles showcasing everything from pushrod 5.0-liters to Three-Valve and earlier Modulars. Both magazines’ content will be overseen by the Power Automedia Ford Group’s Executive Editor and Blue Oval guru, Steve Turner.
“It’s an exciting time for Ford enthusiasts. Since the introduction of the Coyote 5.0-liter engine and the rise of EcoBoost, the Ford performance options have multiplied. In order to properly address these next-gen Ford vehicles, we are launching FordNXT.com, which will cover everything from the Ford GT to the Fiesta ST and all the Mustangs and Raptors in between,” Steve explained. “Of course, we realize there are plenty of amazing Blue Oval vehicles born before 2011. That’s why we added FordMuscle.com to the Power Automedia family of sites. There we’ll cover everything from classic musclecars and fast Fox Mustangs to modern modulars and earlier Fords fitted with modern engines.”
“Perhaps what I love most about the launch of our two new magazines is that it communicates to the readers that we are more than just Mustangs,” proclaimed Scott Parker, Power Automedia’s Director of Content and Strategy. “We have two performance-focused websites that comfortably house content on literally every Ford platform. And now that we’ve drawn the proverbial line in the sand, it is even easier to go straight to the content that you want. It’s a best-of-both-worlds scenario, where we can offer greater breadth to the scope of content yet greater specialization at the same time.”
These two new magazines provide every single Ford enthusiast a go-to source for entertainment and education directly related to their vehicle of choice. They can be visited at www.FordNXT.com and www.FordMuscle.com.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with SpeedVideo for the Summit Racing Equipment Shakedown at the Summit presented by Mickey Thompson, and we’re confident it will be beneficial to our beloved event. We are extremely proud of this event and the caliber of drivers and cars that it offers, and having a livestream allows us to share them with even more people,” said Mary Lendzion of Summit Motorsports Park. “While we would always rather have racers and race fans at our track, having a live HD broadcast will ensure that those who aren’t able to be there will still be able to take in all of the action as though they were, and hopefully make plans to join us for next year’s event.”
“We are very excited to add an event like this to our already impressive 2017 line-up. Having such an awesome event at such a prestigious track is always a formula for success,” said Steve Grein, SpeedVideo’s General Manager. “Norwalk will, no doubt, fill the stands and SpeedVideo will make it available live to everyone in the world not lucky enough to see it in person.”

SpeedVideo and ProMedia Events are proud to jointly announce a multi-year agreement to live broadcast the NMRA and NMCA Racing Series through 2018.
The NMCA is home to some of the fastest heads-up race cars in the world, including some of the most dynamic small-tire and radial racing you will find. “SpeedVideo is a huge marketing opportunity for us,” said Rollie Miller, NMRA and NMCA General Manager. “Not only will the live broadcasts help promote and market our events and tracks, they will provide tons of high-quality video coverage during and after each event. We are looking forward to building a worldwide audience for our NMRA and NMCA events.”

“The NMRA has been the gold standard of Ford drag racing for years,” said Steve Turner, Executive Editor of Power Automedia’s Ford Group. ”Bringing SpeedVideo’s live coverage of these exciting Ford events to those who can’t make it to the track is a giant leap forward for fans, racers, and the series.”
SpeedVideo will be releasing the official NMRA and NMCA broadcast schedules later this year.

For over ten years, Power Automedia’s video production team has been building beautiful content for the automotive industry. For 2017, they’ve got a fresh name that reflects their commitment to take the company to the next level: Alloy Studios.
Alloy Studios combines creative passion with a pragmatic approach to building efficient and effective videos of every flavor. From lifestyle videos, editorial, social, educational, corporate, to viral videos, they will apply the same formula.
“We are very proud to be a part of the Power Automedia family, but the time has come to have our individual identity so there is no confusion that we work for all types of clients,” explained Alloy Studios General Manager, Steve Grein. “In the past, some had the impression that we exclusively produce video for our internal projects and that couldn’t be further from the truth. We are excited for our new name, new look and fresh start. An alloy is multiple metals that come together to make one strong force, and that is exactly what we do here.”
“Power Automedia has produced video content from day one,” explained Power Automedia CEO James Lawrence. “The time has come for Alloy Studios to stand alone. If all of our clients could see the quality of the filming work these guys do, I’m convinced we’d be working twenty four hours a day. The quality of the work is one thing, but we’re efficient. That’s something you couldn’t traditionally say with quality video production and filmmaking.”
Power Automedia will be announcing this change and rebrand at the 2016 SEMA Show. The new website will be www.alloy-studios.com and is expected to launch in Q1 2017.
SpeedVideo is excited to announce they have entered a multi-year broadcast partnership with the popular automotive event “TX2K” to live stream TX2K in 2017 and beyond. SpeedVideo’s series of HD livestreams for TX2K will kick off March 16 through 19 with coverage of TX2K17 at Royal Purple Raceway in Houston, Texas.
TX2K is the original “2K” event in the United States, and one of the largest racing events in the entire country, drawing over 20,000 fans each year. TX2K grew from a Toyota Supra-specific meet; and now, other than hundreds of Supras, you can spot anything from supercars to turbocharged daily drivers. What makes TX2K unique is the event has many dimensions – roll racing, drag racing, dyno runs, and the “after dark” car meet full of bikinis, burnouts, and beer.
“TX2K was created 18 years ago with the sole purpose of having an event strictly focused on fast street cars,” said Peter Blach, founder of TX2K. “It started as a Supra-only event and has grown to feature Lamborghinis, GTRs, Supras, Vipers, ‘Vettes, Porsches, and more. Our goal is to grow the event into the largest single gathering of fast street cars in the world. SpeedVideo’s live broadcast will bring TX2K to those who can’t attend in-person and will add to our fan base even more.”
“TX2K is an absolutely enormous event – probably the largest supercar and fastest street car race in the world,” said Aaron Hahn from SpeedVideo. “To broadcast this to the world is a unique opportunity that we are incredibly excited about.”
So far, the racer list for TX2K17 consists of many 1,500+ horsepower cars, including multiple noteworthy platforms such as the almighty Nissan GTR, twin turbo Lamborghini, Toyota Supra, twin turbo Viper, and multiple 1000+ horsepower street cars – this is just a glimpse of what TX2K is all about.
“We are very proud to bring this unique event into every home, computer, tablet and phone with an internet connection,” said Steve Grein, General Manager of SpeedVideo. “Thanks to cutting edge technology, we plan on showing every round of racing combined with feature stories for the viewing audience to feel the live experience in high definition. Bringing the biggest and best to our viewers is important and there is no question that TX2K is one of the best events out there!”

“I’ve known Steve Turner for more than 15 years, and you’re not going to find a more experienced, dedicated editor,” said James Lawrence, Power Automedia CEO. “He has invested a good portion of his working life in knowing the Ford and Mustang market inside and out, and we couldn’t be more proud than to have him on the team.”
“Power Automedia is expanding our modern Ford and Ford musclecar performance offerings so readers can see more of what they want, and less of what they don’t,” explained Scott Parker, Power Automedia’s Director of Content & Strategy. “Power Automedia’s existing magazine, StangTV.com, will expand into FordNXT.com—a magazine targeted to the next generation of Ford Performance, including Coyote, 2011-up Mustangs, Ecoboost, Raptors, and more. It’s for today’s Ford technology.”
FordMuscle.com, on the other hand, will cater to traditional Ford performance—Fox Mustangs and earlier, more traditional Ford hot rods. It will feature engine tech ranging from pushrod 5.0-liters to Three-Valve and earlier Modulars. Both magazines will be go-to sources for all things Ford; tech articles, car features, event coverage, the latest industry news, and the scoop on the newest and hottest products.
Turner is a graduate of the University of Central Florida and has over 20 years of experience in the industry, most notably working for Super Ford, Focus Fanatic, and as the editor of 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords. Most recently, he helped create and launch a digital content platform for SVTPerformance.com, where he served as Editor-in-Chief for the last two and a half years.
“I am looking forward to working with the dynamic and innovative team at Power Automedia,” Turner said. “The team is driven by a passion for cars and they are always looking for a better way to spread that enthusiasm via online magazines, social media, and video. We will develop FordNXT and FordMuscle into the number-one sources for Ford performance enthusiasts to get their fix.”
